Cà Bung (my favourite)
500g thịt ba rọi (500g belly pork)
4 quả cà tím (4 egg plants)
2 bó tía tô (lặt cắt sợi ) 2 bunches of tía tô ? english name
hành lá (spring onion for garnish)
1/2 hộp đậu hũ (chiên) (1/2 box of pre-fried beancurd)
2 quả cà chua (2 tomatoes)
4-5 tép tỏi (4-5 cloves of garlic)
2 tablespoons mắm ruốc (2 tablepoons of shrimp paste)
nước mắm (fish sauce)
chút đường (sugar)
Xào tỏi , thịt ba rọi, cà chua mắm ruốc..xong cho chút nước vô lửa nhỏ
Khi nhừ cho đậu hũ cà tím vô nấu ..đậy nắp
Khi cà chín cho hành lá, tía tô vô
Stir fry the belly pork with garlic, tomato, shrimp paste then add a little water and simmer until meat is tender.
Add beancurd, egg plant with lid on.
When the egg plant is cooked, garnish with the herb and spring onion.
NB. the herb compliments the shrimp paste..will still taste nice without the herb
also I always fry my own beancurd tastes much nicer..
