1 x225g (8oz) of dừa non bào (shredded young coconut, comes as frozen)
400ml coconut juice (can)
400ml milk
187g of mungbean (đậu xanh cà) after cooking with water mixture is about 600ml
540g caster sugar (2.5 rice bowls) too sweet,
may be 450g caster sugar ?
vanilla essence
Chuck everything together and pop in the oven...180C for 30-35 minutes..
just had a taste...it's yummy can do with less sugar I think...still too sweet for my liking....:)
the mixture is enough for 2 pans (31x21cm)
NB. there is another brand of shredded young coconut, found it to be much better, will post new photos when I buy it next time.
The casava and coconut can be found in the frozen section of any Asian groceries.
